To promote Barbarians Rising, the History Channel commissioned a unique piece of interactive content: a digital card generator that allowed users to create their own custom barbarian character.
Through a short quiz, users answered scenario-based questions to build skill stats in Strength, Bravery, Cunning, and Leadership. The result was a personalised warrior card, complete with a randomly assigned illustrated character and the option to battle against key figures from the show in a Top Trumps–style face-off. I designing the full UI, building a themed asset library, and illustrating over 50 original characters. Cast members from the show were also redrawn as hero cards, with select designs turned into printed promos to support the campaign offline.
